I live in Houston, Texas, where I make photographs that lie between observation and interpretation: images that shift the familiar into something felt rather than simply seen. My work begins in curiosity and attentive wandering as I use my camera to see beyond what’s in front of me.

Through creative camera techniques and layered editing, I merge reality with imagination. I love that moment when a viewer pauses, looks closer, and starts questioning whether they are looking at real life, a memory, or an invention.

I am particularly drawn to architecture, where I isolate details so that it reads as form rather than place. Buildings that seem fixed and firm begin to shift with light, context, and point of view. Static structures feel alive.

I am grateful to mentors and teachers who have shaped my path: Valda Bailey, Doug Chinnery, Susan Burnstine, Arthur Meyerson, Eddie Soloway, Xuan-Hui Ng, Angie McMonigal, and Peter Brown. 

My work has been exhibited at Houston Center for Photography, Fotofest, PhotoPlace Gallery, A Smith Gallery, Rice University, Lawndale Art Center, SE Center for Photography, Texas Photographic Society, Praxis Gallery, Visual Arts Alliance, and published in Arts+Culture Texas, CultureMap, Houston Press, Houston Chronicle, and Symphony Magazine.
